Conditions & Notices
- Essential requirement: A recent or well-preserved FFPE tissue mass from the primary tumor or metastasis is available. AR antigens can degrade in very old samples.
- The examination must be preceded by a confirmed histological diagnosis (H&E) of the type of tumor (prostate, breast, etc.).
- In breast cancer, the estrogen receptor (ER) and progesterone receptor (PR) assay must be negative to establish triple negative status before considering the significance of AR.
- Delivery time: 5-7 business days.
