- A complete tissue block (paraffin block) from a small bowel (ideally duodenum) or colon biopsy is required when suspected.
- It is necessary to attach the initial pathology report with details of symptoms, previous treatments, and results of celiac disease tests (such as tTG-IgA antibodies).
- The patient does not need to fast, as the tissue sample is stable.
- Due to the complexity of the package and the number of tests, the completion time ranges from 7 to 14 working days.
