AMACR Prostate Cancer Test Price | Lahalak Platform
A highly sensitive biomarker for prostate tissue helping confirm diagnosis and differentiate between benign and cancerous changes, supporting accurate treatment decisions in biopsies.
Scientific name: Immunohistochemistry: AMACR (P504S)
A qualitative immunohistochemical (IHC) assay using a monoclonal antibody against alpha-methylacyl-CoA racemase (AMACR), also known as P504S, aims to detect elevated AMACR protein expression in prostate tissue. AMACR is a commonly used marker to support the diagnosis of prostate cancer, particularly in small biopsies or suspected cases.
Included Services
- Prepare a tissue slide from the prostate biopsy and perform immunostabilization using an antibody specific to AMACR (P504S).
- Accurate assessment of cytoplasmic AMACR expression in areas of suspicion compared to surrounding tissues.
- Consult a urologist to interpret the results in the context of the histological diagnosis and associated signs (if requested).
- Personal support services from lahalak.
