Conditions & Notices
- Sample type: 3 deep morning sputum samples (not saliva) collected on consecutive days in sterile containers.
- The sample should be taken in the morning before consuming any food or drink, and the mouth should be rinsed thoroughly with water only before collecting the sample.
- Samples should be brought to the laboratory as soon as possible after collection. If transport is delayed by more than an hour, they should be refrigerated (2-8°C).
