- Fasting is not required, as it is a test on a water sample and not a blood sample.
- Use only the sterile containers provided by the laboratory for collecting samples.
- Collect the sample correctly: from the tap immediately after the water has been running for 2-3 minutes, fill it carefully, and close it immediately.
- Rapid transport: The sample must be delivered to the laboratory within 6 hours at most from the time of collection, and kept in a refrigerator (4°C) during the transport period.
- Do not open the container or expose it to contamination after collection.
