Conditions & Notices
- Fasting is not required, since the sample is hair and not blood.
- The hair sample should be collected from the back of the scalp (occipital), by cutting it as close as possible to the skin (roots).
- Avoid using hair dyes or chemical treatments (such as straightening or permanent perming) for at least two months before taking the sample to obtain accurate results.
- If the hair is too short, pubic or chest hair can be used as an alternative after consultation.
