Conditions & Notices
- Fasting is not required, but it is preferable to draw the sample in the morning (two hours after waking up) to avoid the daily physiological fluctuations of prolactin.
- Avoid severe psychological or physical stress, vaginal examination, and breast stimulation 24 hours before the sample is taken.
