CD45 Lymphocyte Surface Marker Test | Lahalak
A comprehensive analysis of the CD45 protein found on all white blood cells. It is the cornerstone for classifying immune components and accurately diagnosing a wide range of health disorders.
Scientific name: Lymphocyte CD45 Surface Marker Test
A flow cytometry assay to evaluate the expression of CD45 (co-leukocyte phosphatase) on cells. CD45 is a universal marker found on the surface of virtually all mature hematopoietic stem cells (leukocytes) and is essential for the activation and response of these immune cells. It is used as a key marker in flow cytometry panels to differentiate betw...

Conditions & Notices
- Fasting is not required. It is preferable to collect the sample in the morning.
- The sample should be drawn into a flow cytometry tube (usually a purple EDTA anticoagulant tube).
- The sample must be transported and processed in the laboratory as quickly as possible (often within 24 hours) and stored at room temperature, not in a refrigerator, to maintain cell viability.
- Inform the doctor of all medications the patient is taking, even though their direct effect on CD45 is limited.
