ALK Lymphoma Test Price | Lahalak Platform
Precise test to detect ALK protein in lymphoid tissue for diagnosing rare lymphoma types, guiding effective targeted therapy and determining the clinical prognosis.
Scientific name: Immunohistochemistry (IHC) for ALK Lymphoma
A qualitative immunohistochemical (IHC) assay using a monoclonal antibody against anaplastic lymphoma kinase (ALK) protein on tissue sections from a lymph node or infected tissue. It reveals aberrant expression of ALK protein resulting from a genetic rearrangement, a hallmark of anaplastic large cell lymphoma (ALK+ALCL) and some other tumors.
Included Services
- Prepare a tissue slide and perform immunofixation using an antibody specific to the ALK protein (usually Clone D5F3 or ALK1).
- Accurate assessment of nuclear and cytoplasmic ALK expression in tumor cells.
- Consult a hematologist/oncologist or pathologist to interpret the results.
- Personal support services from Halak.

Conditions & Notices
- Basic requirement: A static tissue with Forgammalin and compact with paraffin (FFPE Block) provides a lymphatic biopsy or an infected fabric. The micro-pixures may not always be enough.
- The examination should be preceded by a preliminary histological diagnosis (H&E) and basic immunological tests that confirm the lymphoid nature of the tumor (e.g., CD30 positive for ALCL).
- The laboratory should be informed if there are other suspicions (such as lung cancer) as a different examination may be required.
- Delivery time: 5-7 business days.
