Dialysis Water Endotoxin Test | Lahalak Platform
Ultra-sensitive analysis detecting bacterial toxins in dialysis water to ensure the highest safety and quality standards, protecting kidney patients from inflammatory reactions and sudden fever.
Scientific name: Dialysis Water Endotoxin Analysis
This highly sensitive laboratory test measures the level of endotoxin in treated water used for dialysis or in final dialysis fluids. Endotoxin is a toxic component of the outer membrane of Gram-negative bacteria and is measured in units of EU/mL. Even if the water is sterile (free of live bacteria), it may contain endotoxins released from dead bac...

Conditions & Notices
- The sample collection technique is of utmost importance: the sample must be collected in a sterile, endotoxin-free (special) container from the point of use (dialysis machine connection point), taking into account complete sterilization to prevent external contamination.
- The sample should be tested as soon as possible (usually within 30 minutes) or stored properly if testing is delayed, because the endotoxin may adhere to the vessel walls.
- The examination is carried out routinely on a periodic basis (monthly or quarterly) according to the unit's protocol and local regulations.
