Diagnostic Cardiac Imaging
Precise evaluation of heart muscle, valves, and arteries using advanced imaging techniques to ensure early detection of cardiac issues and prevent strokes.

Scope: Advanced Diagnostic Cardiac Imaging encompassing multiple state-of-the-art modalities. Techniques included: 1. Echocardiography: Variants (Transthoracic TTE, Transesophageal TEE, Pharmacological/Exercise Stress Echo), Physical Principle (ultrasound waves ranging 2-7 MHz), Core Metrics (Ejection Fraction EF, chamber volumetry, hemodynamics and valvular integrity). 2. Coronary CT Angiography (CCTA): Hardware (High-resolution CT scanners, 64-slice or superior, utilizing precise ECG-gating), Contrast Media (Non-ionic iodinated contrast), Diagnostic Output (Quantification of arterial calcium scoring, precise luminal stenosis evaluation, characterization of atherosclerotic plaques). 3. Cardiac Magnetic Resonance Imaging (CMR): Magnetic Field Strength (1.5T or 3T systems employing specialized cardiac coils), Pulse Sequences (Cine imaging, Late Gadolinium Enhancement LGE, specific T1/T2 myocardial mapping, dynamic Perfusion studies), Diagnostic Focus (Myocardial scarring, acute/chronic inflammation, intricate myocardial diseases). 4. Nuclear Cardiology: Radiotracers (Technetium-99m, Thallium-201, Rubidium-82), Imaging Modalities (SPECT, PET targeting myocardial perfusion and localized metabolism). Clinical Indications: Comprehensive evaluation of coronary artery disease (CAD), congestive heart failure, valvular pathologies, cardiomyopathies, and congenital structural heart anomalies.
