Mycoplasma Pneumoniae Antibody Test - Mycoplasma Pneumoniae Antibodies (IgG & IgM) Test

Two serological tests are used to detect and measure the titer of immunoglobulin M (IgM) and immunoglobulin G (IgG) antibodies directed against Mycoplasma pneumoniae. These tests are used to detect acute or recent infection with this bacterium, which causes upper and lower respiratory tract infections, particularly "walking" pneumonia.
