Cellular Immunity Assessment - Immunohistochemistry (IHC): CD57

This diagnostic package, based on immunohistochemistry, includes the examination of a range of markers to assess T cells, particularly memory and responsive subsets. The package primarily includes testing for CD57 (HNK-1, Leu-7), a membrane marker associated with cytotoxic T cells and natural killer (NK) cells, as well as the essential complementary markers: CD3 (a general T-cell marker), CD8 (cytotoxic/suppressive T cells), and Granzyme B or TIA-1 (cytotoxicity markers). The package aims to evaluate the presence and activity of CD8+/CD57+ cytotoxic T cells and to aid in the diagnosis of certain granulomatous large T-cell lymphomas.
