1-Hour Glucose Screening - Glucose Test, 1-Hour Post 50g Glucose

The blood plasma glucose level is measured exactly one hour after the woman ingests an oral solution containing 50 grams of glucose. This is part of the Glucose Challenge Test (GCT), a non-diagnostic screening test performed without fasting for all pregnant women. It aims to identify women at risk of gestational diabetes who require a full diagnostic test (OGTT 100g).
