Basic Pregnancy Screening Package

A basic and routine laboratory package is performed upon diagnosis of pregnancy or during the first trimester. Its purpose is to assess the mother's overall health, determine her blood type and Rh factor, and rule out any infections or diseases that could negatively affect the pregnancy or be transmitted to the fetus. The package includes a complete blood count, immunity tests for infectious diseases, a urine test, and a basic pregnancy hormone test (specific beta-hCG) to confirm the pregnancy and estimate its gestational age.
