Anaerobic Bacterial Culture - Anaerobic Culture

Anaerobic culture is a specialized microbiological examination performed on clinical samples (such as pus, tissues, and body fluids) for cultivation in special nutrient media and completely oxygen-free conditions. Its aim is to isolate and identify obligate or tolerant anaerobic bacteria that cannot be detected by routine aerobic culture, and to perform antibiotic susceptibility testing against them.
