Immune System Function Panel - T-Lymphocyte Subset Panel (CD3/CD4/CD8)

A suite of flow cytometry tests to measure the percentage and absolute count of major T lymphocytes in peripheral blood. This includes the determination of total T cells (CD3+), helper/regulatory T cells (CD3+CD4+), and cytotoxic/suppressive T cells (CD3+CD8+). It is used to calculate the CD4/CD8 ratio, an important indicator for assessing immune balance and for the diagnosis and monitoring of immunodeficiency diseases (such as HIV/AIDS) and autoimmune diseases.
