  • A urine sample is collected over a 24-hour period. Collection begins by emptying the bladder into the urinal and discarding this urine, then collecting all subsequent urine for the entire 24-hour period in the designated container, including the first urination of the following morning.
  • The collection container must be kept in the refrigerator (between 2-8 degrees Celsius) throughout the 24-hour collection period.
