Conditions & Notices
- Fasting: Fasting is not required.
- Sample collection: The sample should be taken before starting any antibiotic treatment. Ideally, the patient should not have urinated for at least one hour before the sample is taken to maintain a high concentration of bacteria in the urethra.
- Refrain from topical treatments: Stop using any antibacterial washes or ointments in the area before the examination.
