Conditions & Notices
- Fast for at least 6 hours before the test (no food, no drink, no smoking).
- Stop taking proton pump inhibitors (PPIs) such as omeprazole, lansoprazole at least two weeks before the test.
- Stop taking H2 antihistamines (such as famotidine, ranitidine) 24-48 hours beforehand.
- Stop taking antibiotics and bismuth medications at least 4 weeks beforehand.
- Inform the doctor about all medications and medical history.
