Conditions & Notices

  • Fast for at least 6 hours before the test (no food, no drink, no smoking).
  • Stop taking proton pump inhibitors (PPIs) such as omeprazole, lansoprazole at least two weeks before the test.
  • Stop taking H2 antihistamines (such as famotidine, ranitidine) 24-48 hours beforehand.
  • Stop taking antibiotics and bismuth medications at least 4 weeks beforehand.
  • Inform the doctor about all medications and medical history.
