Conditions & Notices
- Fasting for 8-12 hours (water is allowed) is required before the sample is taken. This is important because eating (especially fats) can temporarily affect the levels.
- Stop taking L-Carnitine supplements at least 48 hours before the examination, unless otherwise directed by your doctor.
- Inform your doctor about all medications and dietary supplements.
- It is preferable to collect the sample in the morning.
