Conditions & Notices

  • Fasting for 8-12 hours (water is allowed) is required before the sample is taken. This is important because eating (especially fats) can temporarily affect the levels.
  • Stop taking L-Carnitine supplements at least 48 hours before the examination, unless otherwise directed by your doctor.
  • Inform your doctor about all medications and dietary supplements.
  • It is preferable to collect the sample in the morning.
