Neuronal Autoantibodies Panel | Lahalak Platform
Advanced analysis to detect antibodies attacking the nervous system, helping diagnose encephalitis and mysterious neurological disorders.
Scientific name: Neuronal Autoantibodies Panel
A package of serological tests to detect a range of autoantibodies directed against specific antigens in the central and peripheral nervous systems. These include antibodies used to diagnose autoimmune neurological syndromes, such as autoimmune encephalitis, neuroendocrine neoplasia, and peripheral neuropathy.

Conditions & Notices
- Fasting is not required. A blood sample (serum or plasma) can be drawn at any time.
- Blood is drawn into a serum tube (red tube) or an SST tube.
- The doctor and laboratory should be informed of all medications the patient is taking, especially immunosuppressive therapies (cortisone, immunosuppressants) and intravenous immunoglobulin (IVIG), as these may affect antibody titers but do not prevent testing.
- A sample of cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) may also be requested to detect these antibodies, as they may be present only in it and not appear in the blood, especially in cases of encephalitis.
