- Abstain 48-72 hours before the examination from: sexual intercourse, vaginal douching, vaginal suppositories/creams, spermicides, and other vaginal examinations.
- Best time: Mid-cycle (10-20 days after menstruation ends). Avoid during menstruation.

- The sample must be taken by a qualified healthcare practitioner in a clinic or medical center.
- Each group has a specific expiration date. It is recommended to use the groups in order of their expiration dates.
