Conditions & Notices
- It is preferable to avoid examinations during the menstrual period; the ideal time is mid-cycle (between day 10-20 from the start of the cycle).
- Do not use vaginal washes, creams, or vaginal suppositories for at least 48 hours before the appointment.
- Sexual intercourse should be avoided for 24 hours before the examination.
- The doctor should be informed if there is a history of radiation or surgical treatment in the pelvic area.
