Urine Lead Level Test | Lahalak Platform
Quantitative measurement of lead concentration in urine to assess recent exposure to toxic heavy metals, essential for individuals in high-risk industrial or environmental settings.
Scientific name: Lead Level in Random Urine
A random urine lead test is a quantitative measurement of the concentration of lead (Pb) in urine. The level of lead in urine reflects current or recent exposure to this toxic metal, as a significant portion of absorbed lead is excreted by the kidneys. This test is used for screening and monitoring environmental or occupational lead exposure.
Included Services
- A detailed analysis to measure the concentration of the element lead (Pb) in a transient urine sample.
- Consult an occupational health, pediatric, or internal medicine specialist to interpret the results.
- Personal support services from Halak.

Conditions & Notices
- Fasting is not required. A random (transient) urine sample is collected in a special metal-free (lead-free) collection container to avoid sample contamination.
- Hands should be washed thoroughly before collecting the sample. It is preferable to collect the sample from the midstream of urine (the clean sample).
- Sample collection should be avoided immediately after severe occupational lead exposure; sampling at the beginning of the week or after a break from work may give a clearer picture of the chronic burden.
