  • Fasting is required for 8-12 hours before the test. Only water is permitted during this period.
  • The examination should be carried out in the morning after a night of sleep and fasting.
  • Avoid smoking, exercising, or drinking coffee during the fasting period and immediately before the test, as these may affect the result.
  • If you have diabetes and take medication (such as insulin or pills), consult your doctor about how to take your medication on the morning of your examination. Do not stop taking your medication without instructions.
