Syphilis Confirmatory Test - Treponema Pallidum Hemagglutination Assay (TPHA)

A specific serological test called the Treponema pallidum hemagglutination assay (TPHA) detects the presence of specific antibodies against the syphilis bacterium (Treponema pallidum) in blood serum. It provides a titer as a chemical result and is used to confirm infection and estimate baseline antibody levels.
