Throat Swab Culture

A comprehensive diagnostic package for throat infections. This includes culturing a throat swab sample on selective media (such as blood agar) to isolate and identify the causative bacteria, with a primary focus on group A streptococcus (Streptococcus pyogenes). It also includes antibiotic susceptibility testing of the isolated bacteria (especially when resistance is suspected) to determine the most appropriate antibiotic for treatment.
