Cellular Immunity Activity Assessment - Lymphocyte CD57 Whole Blood Test

This immunoassay package uses flow cytometry to measure the percentage and/or absolute number of lymphocytes expressing the CD57 marker on their surface in a whole blood sample. CD57 (or Leu-7) is a membrane marker associated with cytotoxic/suppressor T cells and terminally differentiated, long-term memory natural killer (NK) cells. The package also includes testing for complementary markers such as CD3 (for general T cells) and CD8 (for cytotoxic T cells) to accurately classify CD57+ cells. This package is intended for assessing cellular immune activity and immune fatigue in the context of chronic viral infections, autoimmune disorders, and hematological malignancies.
