PAX8 Tumor Origin Test - Immunohistochemistry (IHC) for PAX8

Immunohistochemical (IHC) analysis reveals the expression of PAX8 (Paired Box Gene 8) protein in tissue samples. PAX8 is a nucleosome-specific marker for adrenal duct-derived cells and is primarily used to confirm the origin of tumors of the female reproductive system, kidney, and thyroid gland, and to differentiate them from metastases from other organs.
