T-cell & Myeloma Diagnostic Package - Immunohistochemistry: CD43 Diagnostic Package

This diagnostic package, based on immunohistochemistry, includes the testing of a range of markers to evaluate lymphocyte and myeloproliferative proliferations. The package primarily includes testing for CD43 (leukosialin), a membrane marker expressed by T cells, myelocytes (phagocytes), mast cells, and some B cells, as well as the essential complementary markers: CD3 (a T-cell specific marker), CD20 (a B-cell marker), and MPO (myeloperoxidase) or lysozyme (myeloproliferative/phagocyte markers). The package aims to differentiate between T-lymphocyte proliferations (CD3 and CD43 positive), B-lymphocyte proliferations (CD20 positive, CD43 positive or negative), and myeloproliferative/phagocyte proliferations (MPO/lysozyme and CD43 positive).
