Comprehensive HIV Combo Test - HIV 1 & 2 Antigen/Antibody Combo Test (4th Generation)

A comprehensive fourth-generation immunoassay for detecting HIV infection (types 1 and 2). The test combines the detection of the p24 viral antigen (which appears as early as 2-4 weeks after infection) with antibodies to the virus (which develop later). It shortens the diagnostic window period and increases the sensitivity of detection at very early stages compared to older (third-generation) tests that detect only antibodies.
