Dengue Fever IgM Test - Dengue Virus IgM Antibody Test

A specific serological test detects dengue virus IgM antibodies in blood serum. These antibodies begin to appear 3-5 days after the onset of symptoms (fever), peak after two weeks, and then begin to decline over 2-3 months. Their presence indicates a recent or currently active infection and is a key component of dengue serological diagnosis.
