Chromium Whole Blood Test

A whole blood chromium test is a quantitative measurement of the level of chromium in a sample of whole blood (not just serum). Chromium is closely bound to red blood cells, making whole blood the ideal sample for assessing recent exposure. Hexavalent chromium (Cr VI) is the most toxic and threatening form.
