Schistosomiasis Antibody Test - Anti-Schistosoma Antibody (IgG) Test

A specific serological immunoassay (Quality specificity {Q}) to detect the presence of immunoglobulin G (IgG) antibodies directed against antigens of the schistosome parasite in a serum sample. Used as an auxiliary test to confirm diagnosis when schistosomiasis is suspected, especially in chronic cases or outside endemic areas.
