Precise Lupus Diagnosis Test - Anti-Nucleosome Antibody Test

A serological test to detect autoantibodies directed against nucleosome complexes, the basic building blocks of chromatin (composed of DNA wrapped around histone proteins). These antibodies are commonly found in systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) and are associated with disease activity, particularly lupus nephritis. Their specificity for SLE is high, and they are often present in patients negative for other antibodies, such as anti-dsDNA.
