Advanced Cervical Cell Screening - PAP Smear, Liquid-Based Cytology (LBC) Technique

Liquid-based cytology (LICT) is a modern method for collecting and presenting cellular samples from the cervix. The collected cells are placed directly into a container containing a preservative solution, rather than being smeared onto a glass slide. The sample is then processed to remove impurities (such as blood and inflammatory cells) and placed on a clean slide, improving sample quality and cell clarity, and making it easier for the pathologist to examine with high precision.
