A systematic diagnostic-predictive consultation package is based on the analysis and integration of results from four carefully selected immunohistochemical (IHC) markers, according to standard guidelines. The package typically combines two or three diagnostic/classification markers with one predictive/proliferative marker (at least one, such as Ki-67). The resulting quadruple pattern is analyzed according to risk stratification, such as the modified Nottingham system for breast cancer, or similar classifications for other tumors. The interpretation provides a final diagnostic classification with a risk assessment (low, intermediate, high) and treatment and follow-up recommendations tailored to the risk level.
