Early HIV Combo Test - HIV P24 Antigen and Antibodies Combo Test

A comprehensive (fourth-generation) immunoassay for HIV (HIV-1 and HIV-2) infection. The test combines detection of the P24 viral antigen (which appears as early as 2-4 weeks after infection) with antibodies to the virus (which develop later). It shortens the "window period" and increases the sensitivity of detection at very early stages compared to older tests.
