Nerve Sheath Protein Test - Myelin Basic Protein (MBP) in CSF Test

Test that measures the concentration of Myelin Basic Protein (MBP) in Cerebrospinal Fluid (CSF). MBP is a major component of the myelin sheath that insulates nerve fibers, and elevated levels in CSF indicate active demyelination process (damage to the protective nerve sheath).
