Nervous System Inflammation Test - Oligoclonal Banding (OCB) Test

Test to detect presence of Oligoclonal Bands (OCBs) in Cerebrospinal Fluid (CSF) that are not present in serum, using techniques like immunoelectrophoresis. These bands indicate local immune production of immunoglobulins (IgG) within the central nervous system, a marker of chronic inflammation.
