Polio Immunity Antibody Test - Poliovirus IgG Antibody Test

This immunoassay measures the titer (level) of neutralizing IgG antibodies in the blood against the three serotypes of poliovirus (types 1, 2, and 3). These antibodies provide long-lasting protection against infection. They are primarily produced in response to vaccination with inactivated polio vaccine (IPV) or after natural infection (currently rare).
