Leishmaniasis Antibodies Test

The Leishmaniasis Antibodies test is a serological immunoassay that detects antibodies (usually IgG and/or IgM) against Leishmania parasites in blood serum. This test helps confirm a diagnosis of infection, particularly in visceral (systemic) forms of the disease where the immune response is strong, whereas it may be weak or absent in some limited cutaneous forms.
